MEET THE PANTONE COLORS THAT MARK THE SPRING-SUMMER SEASON 2017

¿Quieres conocerlos?… Pues aquí los tenemos todos!

Pantone always tend to hit the spot with their precise color recommendations and this time an approach to natural tones is clearly visible, taking sun rays and the intense greens of herbs as a reference, imagining the color of the fresh mountain air, crystalline tones of the water running down a waterfall or the heat of a wild fire.

The list is an equal mix of soft and earthy tones, a mix of the purest and simplest colors, with the power and the vibrant energy of the blooming spring. Those are without doubt the color tones that will not only mark tendencies in fashion, but also in architecture and interior decoration.

Very much in contrast to the color “Niagara”, this yellow conveys energy and joy, it´s a very powerful tone, it´s the color of the sun and the spring flowers.

Looking for some balance Primrose Yellow perfectly combinable with the color “Niagara” we saw before or with the color Hazelnut in order to achieve neutrality while we could create some contrast with black.

Love, fun, enthusiasm and passion are the feelings that awake when we see this orangy red or reddish orange. We can´t really tell which color attracts the other but we know for sure that they remind us of the lively flame of intense fire. We can use it in our extravagant looks or combine it with more neutral tones that level the intensity of the flame down. Oscar de la Renta has used it in his cocktail dresses and Tory Burch has shown us the more
extravagant version of this color can be seen in Tory Burch´s creations.

10) PANTONE 14-1315 Hazelnut

With so-called “Hazelnut” we´re getting to the neutral side of the palette. “Hazelnut” is a softer tone than natural hazelnut which connects the other colors we saw before just like nature does with its elements: earth, air, water and fire.

Zadig & Voltaire have shown us how to make “Hazelnut” shine in all of it shades.
